Title: Apple Nut Muffins

Ingredients:
2 c Sifted flour
2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 c Sugar
1/2 c Milk
1/2 c Drippings or other
-shortening
2 Eggs
3/4 c Applesauce; unsweetened
1/2 c Chopped nuts
Sift flour, baking powder, sugar and salt together. Add melted drippings
and mix. Add beaten eggs, applesauce and nuts. Stir only until flour is
moistened. Fill greased 2 1/2 inch tins 2/3 full. Bake in moderate oven 375
