Bread Pudding with Lemon Hard Sauce

Title: Bread Pudding with Lemon Hard Sauce
Yield: 1 Servings

Ingredients:

2 c Milk
1/2 c Sugar
1/2 c Raisins
2 Eggs; beaten
1/4 c Butter or margarine
1/4 ts Salt
4 c Bread crumbs
1/2 ts Nutmeg


Combine the butter or margarine, sugar, salt, and raisins with the milk.
Heat to a boil. Pour over bread crumbs. Allow to set for 5 minutes. Add the
eggs, nutmeg and mix well. Place into a buttered casserole. Bake at 350 for
50-55 minutes. Serve with a Lemon Sauce or a Hard Sauce. Hard Sauce: Cream
1/2 cup butter or margarine with 1 1/2 cups sugar. Add 1 tsp. vanilla
extract and beat until fluffy.
