Char Siu Sauce
1/4 c Reduced sodium soy sauce
2 tb Honey
2 tb Sugar
2 tb Dry sherry
1 ts Salt
1 ts Chinese five-spice powder
3 Quarter-size slices fresh
Extracted from a Char Siu Ding (Pork) recipe. Should be tested.
In a pan, combine soy, honey, sugar, sherry, salt, five-spice and ginger.
Heat for one minute to dissolve sugar.
