Title: Mommy's Meatloaf
Yield: 6 Servings
Categories: Entree

Ingredients:

1 1/2 lb Lean ground beef
1 c Cracker crumbs (approx 22)
-or bread crumbs; dry
1 1/4 c Milk
1 lg Egg
1/4 c Chopped onion; (1 small)
1 tb Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Dry mustard
1/4 ts Pepper
1/4 ts Ground sage
1 Clove crushed garlic;
-optional
8 oz Finely chopped mushrooms;
-optional
1/2 c Ketchup


Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Don't overhandle the meat, as that will
toughen it. Spread in ungreased loaf pan, 9x5x3 inches. Spread with ketchup
(or BBQ Sauce, if desired). Leave a section of it plain, as Dad doesn't
care for the ketchup topping. Cook uncovered in 350 degree oven until done,
about 1 1/2 hours.

Serving Ideas : Mashed Potatoes, Corn or Green Beans, Biscuits.
