Title: Onions Orion
Yield: 8 Servings

Ingredients:
3 c Large white onions, sliced
1/2 c Vinegar
1/3 c Mayonnaise, (to 1/2)
1 ts Salt
1 1/2 ts Favorite herb (maybe dill or
-celery seed)
Lettuce, optional
Capers, optional
Put the onions in a glass bowl, add the vinegar, and then add enough water
to cover, soak for 3 hours, drain, add the mayonnaise, salt, and herbs.
Serve as a side dish or over lettuce as a salad. Salad can be topped with
capers. Keeps in refrigerator for weeks.
