Title: Peppery Pecan Pie
Yield: 8 Servings

Ingredients:

Prepared pie crust for one
-9-inch pie
3 lg Eggs
1 c Dark corn syrup
1/2 c Dark brown sugar
1/4 c Butter or margarine; melted
1 tb TABASCO? pepper sauce
1 1/2 c Pecans; coarsely chopped
Whipped Cream; optional


Preheat oven to 425?:F. Place pie crust in 9-inch pie plate; make
decorative edge. In large bowl, beat eggs slightly. Add dark corn syrup,
dark brown sugar, melted butter and TABASCO? pepper sauce. Place pecans in
prepared pie crust; pour filling over pecans. Bake pie 15 minutes.

Reduce oven to 350?F. Bake pie 40 minutes longer or until knife inserted 1
inch from edge comes out clean. Cool pie on wire rack. Serve with whipped
cream if desired.
